Metformin, a repeat HbA1c ordered for six weeks out, the advice in writing. It’s stored in her records, with the receipt.
Two weeks later, she sends an update
Dr. Rao reads it against the whole episode and replies the same evening. The reply is on the record with everything else.

Common questions
Does Preaxa’s AI diagnose or prescribe?
No. It asks questions, takes notes, and reads reports. Diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions come only from the doctor, whose registration details are shown before booking.
Can I use Preaxa in an emergency?
No. Preaxa is for planned consultations and follow-ups only. If you think you are having an emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call your local emergency number.
Who can see my health data?
Only the doctor you consult. India’s DPDP Act applies to everything Preaxa holds: data is processed with consent, and can be viewed, corrected, or erased from the account page. Nothing is shared with anyone else unless you agree to it.
I’m a doctor on Practo or another EMR — do I have to switch?
No. Keep your Practo and Eka Care listings; Preaxa syncs its calendar with both. Records are kept in standard formats and can be exported at any time.
What does it cost?
Patients pay the doctor’s usual consultation fee plus a small platform fee, shown in full before booking. A monthly plan for between-visit follow-ups is coming soon. Doctors join free.
