Common questions
Is the AI going to diagnose me?
No. It asks questions, takes notes, and reads your reports. Diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions come only from the doctor, whose registration details are shown before booking.
Can I use Preaxa in an emergency?
No. Preaxa is for planned consultations and follow-ups only. If you think you are having an emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call your local emergency number.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The conversation happens on WhatsApp. Your docket, payment, and the video consultation open in your phone’s browser, so there is nothing to install.
Who can see my health data?
Only the doctor you consult. India’s DPDP Act applies to everything Preaxa holds: data is processed with consent, and can be viewed, corrected, or erased from the account page. Nothing is shared with anyone else unless you agree to it.
